TERMS OF USE

Effective July 23, 2026

Terms of use

KeepCheck is a personal record and reminder tool. It does not replace the merchant, carrier, payment provider, or your own verification.

Purpose

KeepCheck helps you record a purchase, gather evidence after use, make a keep-or-return decision, and record a refund. It is not a retailer, return processor, bank, financial adviser, therapist, or guarantor of eligibility or outcome.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for verifying return eligibility, the deadline and time zone, item condition, method, shipping, fees, refund amount, and receipt with the merchant or payment provider. Notifications are best effort and can be delayed or suppressed by iOS settings, Focus modes, or device conditions. Do not use KeepCheck as the only record for a time-sensitive return.

App purchase

The lifetime unlock is a non-consumable in-app purchase processed by Apple. The price and product details shown in the App Store purchase flow control. There is no recurring KeepCheck subscription in 1.0.

Your data

KeepCheck 1.0 stores app records locally. You are responsible for exports and the destinations you select in the system share sheet. Deleting the app or local data may be irreversible because 1.0 has no account or cloud-sync recovery.

Acceptable use

Do not use KeepCheck to facilitate fraud, violate law or third-party rights, disrupt the app or site, probe security without authorization, or misrepresent ownership of KeepCheck materials.

Intellectual property

KeepCheck’s original code, copy, documentation, visual design, and original site materials are protected by applicable rights and remain the property of their owner. Apple names, system assets, and other third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners. No right to copy or distribute KeepCheck materials is granted by using the app or reading this site.

Availability and liability

KeepCheck may change as it is improved. To the extent allowed by law, KeepCheck is provided “as is” without a promise that reminders or calculations will be uninterrupted or error-free. KeepCheck is not responsible for a missed return window, denied return, changed policy, lost shipment, payment dispute, or decision based on inaccurate user-entered information.

Changes and contact

These terms may be updated when KeepCheck’s features or legal obligations change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Questions can be sent through the direct developer contact on the Support page.
